I am a Communications Consultant, Digital Strategist and Trainer with over 13 years working in-house and agency-side across a range of sectors. I am also a freelance journalist and a blogger, writing on issues surrounding PR, journalism social media and the changing media landscape.

Today I provide strategic counsel and communications support to ensure effective and integrated communications. I am also an accredited CIPR trainer, delivering courses on social media and public relations. Based in London, I travel and support clients in Europe, South East Asia and The Middle East.

I have worked and led campaigns for clients ranging from Bacardi Limited and Michael Schumacher, Sony Ericsson and Maria Sharapova, as well as for Tatweer, DTC/De Beers, UK Trade & Investment and Creative London’s Degrees of Creativity. Work delivered direct to client or through agencies including Burson-Marsteller, Communique PR and MS&L.

I have experience in strategic and corporate communications, event management, sports sponsorship, media relations and online communications across a range of sectors. I have also developed media relations’ plans and international public relation’s toolkits.

My across the board experience has enabled me to develop seamless integrated campaigns for UK and global clients, which has helped them better engage with audiences through traditional and digital channels.

Communications today is not just about talking to your audience, but about engagement and dialogue, with social media shaping how brands are developed and managed.

Outside work I am the Chair of the UK’s Chartered Institute of Public Relations Greater London Group (CIPR GLG). The group supports and represents public relations and communications professionals in London. The GLG organises monthly events for its members – from meet-the-media to insight into journalism, law and social media.
